De Stijl
De Stijl (Nederlandice, 'modus'), etiam neoplasticismus appellatum, fuit motus artis Nederlandicus Lugduni Batavorum anno 1917 fundatus, cuius sodales plerumque erant artifices et architecti.[1] Sensu stricto, vocabulum De Stijl corpus operum attingit quae inter annos 1917 et 1931 in Nederlandia facta sunt.[2][3] Homines qui De Stijl favebant puram abstractionem et quod universalitatem appellare solebant per formas coloresque imminuendos suadebant; compositiones recte et librate simplificabant, solum nigro, albo, coloribusque primariis utentes.
De Stijl fuit diarium quod a Theodoro can Doesburg, pictore, designatore, scriptore, criticoque Nederlandico, edebatur, quod gregis rationes propagabat. Cum van Doesburg, principales gregis sodales erant Petrus Mondrian, Vilmos Huszár, ac Bart van der Leck pictores, et Gerrit Rietveld, Robertus van 't Hoff, et J. J. P. Oud architecti. Philosophia artifex in qua opera gregis condita sunt neoplasticismus appellatur, nomen quod significat novam artem plasticam (Nederlandice Nieuwe Beelding).
In musica praeterea, De Stijl opera Iacobi van Domselaer compositoris amicique Mondriani, movit. Qui inter 1913 et 1916 Proeven van Stijlkunst ('Experimenta modo artifici facta') composuit, plerumque a picturis Mondrianis motus. Haec musica, minimalistisa et eodem tempore maxime inusitata, elementa musica "librata" et "recta" definivit, et haec principia aequis ponderibus librare conabatur. Van Domselaer autem ignotus vivebat, primasque partes intra De Stijl non egebat.
