Aquarius najas est Europaea hemipterorum familiae Gerridarum species.[1][2] Olim Gerris najas appellabatur, sed subgenus ad gradum genericum post enodationem phylogeneticam anno 1990 levatum est.[3][4]

Species aquas moventis petit, plerumque autem in saxosis fluminum marginibus habitans.[5]
