De titulo paginae
[fontem recensere]Nomen Lituana cum ipso nomine Lituania, linguis Italica Hispanicaque usitato, meliores sunt Lithuana, Lithuaniaque cum 'h', qui nobis potissime ex lingua Anglica noti. Ambo usitati erant lingua Latina in mediis aevis, sed sine 'h' nomen similius autentico Lituano, cum Lituania Lietuva lituane dicitur.

[fontem recensere]Does anyone know what East Prussia is in Latin? I'm guessing it is just Prussia Orientala, -ae, F.
- Not sure, o usor anonyme, but orientala itself is not a word in Latin. At the very least you're looking for orientalis. -- Ioscius ∞ 08:21, 4 Novembris 2010 (UTC)
- Is there an adjective meaning "east" then? Prussia doesn't describe east; east has to describe Prussia. -- I9113N 09:16, 4 Novembris 2010 (UTC -5)
- "Orientalis" is the adjective for "east". -- Ioscius ∞ 13:55, 4 Novembris 2010 (UTC)
- And 'Prussia' is apparently Borussia. IacobusAmor 14:10, 4 Novembris 2010 (UTC)
- Hence you will find our page on the subject at Borussia orientalis. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 15:10, 4 Novembris 2010 (UTC)

And, I'm not sure if Abecedario Linguo Lituanio is correct for "Lithuanian Alphabet."
- It can't be, as lingua is feminine, and abecedario is OK only in the dative & ablative. IacobusAmor 14:10, 4 Novembris 2010 (UTC)
- Abecedarium Lithuanicum would do nicely. As to whether there should be an h in the word, opinions differ, but we are using the spelling with h at present because that's the one we have a citation for.
- I don't understand "Immutatii sunt saepe non scriptum". What are immutatii? Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 15:18, 4 Novembris 2010 (UTC)
