- Unde adiectivum ficticius, -a, -um ? Participium fingendi est fictus, -a, -um. IacobusAmor (disputatio) 13:58, 21 Maii 2013 (UTC)
- Solum simulavi ('copy' cito feci). Adeo qualibet 'Categoriae:Personae fictae Tolkiensis' ,tibi?Jondel (disputatio) 14:09, 21 Maii 2013 (UTC)
- About "ficticius": I have been guilty of using this word (perhaps I invented it) but I fear Iacobus is right to criticise it. "Fictus/fictae" is shorter and better, I would agree.
- I don't know what form "Tolkiensis" is. While thinking about this, Jondel, are you sure you mean any of Tolkien's characters, or do you really mean "Fictional characters of Middle Earth"?
- If choosing the former, compare our existing Categoria:Opera I. R. R. Tolkien: so you could make Categoria:Personae fictae I. R. R. Tolkien.
- If choosing the latter, compare our existing Categoria:Duces gentium in Terra Media; so you could make Categoria:Personae fictae in Terra Media.
- Please, both of you, comment on these suggestions! Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 18:12, 21 Maii 2013 (UTC)
- I guess I should study and go over the discussions in other related articles. Tolkiensis was, ahh, well, invented :( .
- Hmm, we all invent things occasionally (see above). I understand the attraction of "Tolkiensis", but I think it is too-much-collapsed -- a sort of portmanteau compound :) Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 12:11, 22 Maii 2013 (UTC)
- Just some thoughts.
- Middle earth
- may be confused with our real world as midgard of Nordic mythology.
- might not be obvious as the fictional Universe (or age before the the modern age)in Tolkien's tales.
- From your suggestions I would like to use: Categoria:Personae fictae I. R. R. Tolkien and place the duces under this. Is this Ok with all?Jondel (disputatio) 10:19, 22 Maii 2013 (UTC)
- We could also create this with the existing article into a category:Personae Legendarii Tolkien.--Jondel (disputatio) 10:29, 22 Maii 2013 (UTC)
- Your last suggestion, Categoria:Personae Legendarii Tolkien seems fine to me. I agree, once you have created the category -- whatever name we choose -- the "Duces gentium in Terra Media" should be in it or should be a subcategory of it. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 11:31, 22 Maii 2013 (UTC)
