- Anglice "fictitious characters", "characters from fiction"? Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 09:01, 21 Octobris 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, I looked at Vicipaedia:Persona and Disputatio Categoriae:Personae Biblicae again, persona seems to be ok in this context. --UV 22:51, 21 Octobris 2007 (UTC)
- Greetings. Is it sure? As we know, persona means "roll", "mask", and "person". But does this word only refer to humans? Or does it here in this category work to non-humans, such as humanoid beings (like beings/species like Frodo Baggins, Sonic and Yoda), animals (like Donkey Kong and Yoshi), and robots (like Data)? I have wondered for a long time about this question. What do you know or/and consider?

- Of course it's easy to subcategorize whenever we need to, but I think this title is OK for a general category. "Personae" are characters representing individuals. In most types of fiction we assume them to represent humans, but they don't have to. Even if they don't (e.g. gods, hobbits, robots) a director may still call on humans to play the roles or do the voices. So the species is not the defining feature, I think ...
