Disputatio Formulae:Cons-trans
Appearance
No doubt this catches the eye. I fear, however, it might also hurt some people's eyes a tad. Maybe someone could rebalance it towards a more aesthetically pleasing, but still sufficiently conspicuous design, with a few little flags, some colour change, a nicer font ... you know what I mean?--Ceylon 17:19, 8 Martii 2008 (UTC)
- Placet? Harrissimo 23:21, 8 Martii 2008 (UTC).
- Thanks, much nicer. My browser displays it as two lines each - maybe if the font were a point or two smaller it would all fit into one line.--Ceylon 23:24, 8 Martii 2008 (UTC)
- Is it working now? Harrissimo 23:29, 8 Martii 2008 (UTC).
- Optime. --Ceylon 23:31, 8 Martii 2008 (UTC)

Spanish & Italian
[fontem recensere]I've added both of these because we now have a Spanish translation of a consilium page and I put Italian in for two reasons: 1. Learning Latin is widespread in Italian grammar schools so I guess there are a lot if Italians who know some Latin 2. Having just three looks horrible. Please say if you feel I've made the wrong choices. Harrissimo 20:38, 16 Martii 2008 (UTC).
- We shouldn't have too many languages because of the translation work involved. The reason why I thought English and German were a good choice - beside the fact that they are the two largest wikipedias - is that I noticed that these are the two languages most used on the talk pages here and that in especially Eastern Europe many people would be more likely to know German than English. If we go beyond those two, it gets difficult: Why Italian and not French? Wouldn't Italians and Spaniards be more likely to grasp the gist of the original Latin pages? What about Russian? After all, this is the Latin Vicipaedia, so I would favour limiting translations into the vernaculars as far as possible.--Ceylon 20:56, 16 Martii 2008 (UTC)
- Yes. But where does that leave Vicipaedia:A est B/es? Shall we have translations (in any language other than en or de) as optional under a ==Vide etiam==? Harrissimo 20:59, 16 Martii 2008 (UTC).
- It's a difficult choice, but yes I think that might be the best idea at the moment.--Ceylon 21:06, 16 Martii 2008 (UTC)
