Figitidae sunt familia vesparum parasitoidearum subordinis Apocritorum, cuius plena biodiversitas nondum determinatur, quamquam circa 1400 specierum in plus quam 130 genera digestae sunt.[1] Exempli gratia, inter Eucoilinas, maximam familiae subfamiliam (olim Eucpilidas, familiam separatam habitam),[2] digeruntur plus quam mille species descriptae, sed ut videtur permultae species aliae nondum inveniuntur. Species Figitidarum per plurumum orbis terrarum fiunt.[3]

Anno 2011 erant duodecim subfamiliae.[3]
