Geotrypetes est genus amphibiorum vermiformium familiae Dermophiidarum,[1][2] sed nonnullae classificationes id in familiam Caeciliidarum digerunt.[3] Species in Africa Occidentali endemicae sunt, aliquando caeciliani Africae Occidentalis appellatae.
