Impressionismus syntheticus est modus pingendi qui colores diligenter observatos expressivaque pigmentorum tractationem pictorum impressionisticorum cum abstractione spatii et plurimis conspectibus in maius elatis pictorum cubisticorum miscet.[1] Inter praecursores impressionismi synthetici erant Van Gogh, Cézanne, et Chaim Soutine.[2] Inter artifices hodiernos qui huic modo pingendi favent sunt Iacobus Michalopoulos et Carolus Tersolo, artifices Americani. Haec locutio etiam in musica et litteris adhibetur.
