Myroxylon balsamum var. pereirae (nomen anno 1908 ab Hermanno Harms post Ioannem Royle statutum), Latinitate communi balsamum Peruvianum, est varietas speciei Myroxylon balsamum arborum resiniferarum quae in Salvatoria floret. Aroma utile, rationibus cosmeticis et medicis, sed allergenum praebet.
