Nucleus supraopticus est nucleus hypothalamicus ex tribus milibus cellularum magnocellularium compositus. Cellulae haec hormonta et vasopressinum et oxytocinum in sanguinem liberant[1]. Locatus est nucleus supraopticus in regione anteriori, immediate supra chiasma opticum.

[recensere | fontem recensere]Nucleus supraopticus haud magnus apparet, ei tantum circiter tria milia neuronorum insunt. Zona perinuclearis nucleo ipso vicina est.
Circuitus
[recensere | fontem recensere]Axona nervi supraoptici in partem posteriorem hypophysis ducunt[2]:
- Nucleus supraopticus → pars posterior glandulae pituitariae
Videtur ut axona nervi supraoptici etiam in organi suprafornicalis neurona terminent, quae axona in nucleum paraventricularem mittunt[3]:
- Nucleus supraopticus → organum suprafornicale → nucleus paraventricularis
Physiologia
[recensere | fontem recensere]Cellulae haec hormon vasopressinum secernunt, quod, trans sanguinem missum, in renibus reabsorptionem natrii Na+ auget. Generant nuclei cellulae etiam hormon oxytocinum[4].
Si pressio sanguinis augeat, zona periventricularis inhibitionis neuronorum vasopressini necesse sit[5].
