Ostrea angasi: testa intus extusque visa (Naturalis Lugduni Batavorum)
Ostrea angasi est species conchyliorum generis Ostreae ad litora Australiae meridianae sponte gignens. Fossilia huius speciei a periodo Pliocaena reperta sunt. Strata littoralia O. angasi iuxta oras maritimas Australiae Australis omnes inter annos 1886 et 1946 ab hominibus destructa sunt. Nostris diebus cultores speciei Magallanae gigantis, diversitati studentes, ostrearia O. angasi e novo instituere conati sunt.
