Michael Musculus coepit die 18 Novembris 1928 cum Steamboat Willie (Navis Vaporalis Gulielmus) pellicula brevi edita est. Anno 1937, Disney primam pelliculam longam, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Albanix et Septem Nani) fecit. Postea fecit seriem pellicularum animatarum longam quae tardius etiam in libros classicos conversi sunt.
Gualterius mortuus est anno 1966. Postea Walt Disney Societas etiam fecit pelliculas non-animatas. Annis 1990, coeperunt impressam Touchstone pro pelliculis quae non sunt aptae pueris et familiis. Annis 2000, laboraverunt cum societate Pixar ad faciendas pelliculas cum animatione computatoris.
Societas Walt Disney mense Octobri, 2012 societatem Lucasfilm $4,04 miliardo acquisivit et annuntiavit ipsam tres novas pelliculas pro Star Wars producturas esse, prima parata vulgatura in 2015.
