Troglodytidae sunt familia avium brunnearum ordinis Passeriformium. Cui familiae, quae plerumque in Mundo Novo invenitur, sunt 88 species in 19 genera digestae. Solum Troglodytes troglodytes in Mundo Vetere invenitur.
Plurimae Troglodytidae sunt parvae et inconspicuae, sed carmina magna et multiplicia canunt. Inter exceptiones sunt species generis Campylorhynchi, quorum mores audaciores esse possunt. Troglodytis sunt alae breves, quae in plurimis speciebus fasciatae sunt, et caudas saepe erectas tenent. Insectivora plerumque sunt, quae insectis, araneis, aliisque parvis invertebratis vescuntur, sed multae species plantis etiam vescuntur, et nonnullae parvas ranas et lacertas capiunt.[1]
Taxinomia
[recensere | fontem recensere]Cladogramma retractatum ex Martínez Gómez et al. 2005 et Mann et al. 2006. Taxinomia nonnullorum gregum est magnopere multiplex, et fissiones gradus speciei verisimiles sunt.
